Understanding the Fixed Index Annuity Structure

Today’s fixed income environment has been difficult to navigate and deciding which products or solutions will best serve investors can be a challenge. In this session of Office Hours, we are joined by our friends at DPL to learn more about their mission of bringing low-cost, commission-free annuities and life insurance as a complement to fixed income solutions.

This conversation will touch on Avantis’ decision to partner with Barclays to create an index designed to work well for fee-based advisors, as well as an overview of the FIA structure and how it could be used to complement an existing allocation of stocks and bonds. We will also discuss how DPL partners with fee-based advisors and where they are seeing advisors implement these solutions into their practices.
